Our Story.

Key Café isn’t just a café — it’s a social enterprise with a purpose. As part of Key Community Group, a proudly local, family-run not-for-profit, we exist to create opportunities, connection, and meaningful outcomes for people across the Mid North Coast.

Founded in 1991 by Chris Worboys, Key has grown from a single disability employment program into the largest, locally run community organisation in the region, supporting over 1,200 people each year. Our services span employment programs, youth services, disability supports, registered training, and community engagement and all are guided by the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and valued.

At Key Café, we create employment and training opportunities for people with disability, young people, and others facing barriers to work. Every dollar spent here is reinvested into local programs that strengthen our community.
